    “Prior to using Margaret as my personal trainer, I had spent the previous year trying to lose weight. I joined a big box gym and signed up with a trainer thinking they could help me reach my weight loss goal faster. The focus was mostly cardio, which I'm not a big fan of. I assumed it was the only way to shed the pounds. After nearly a year, I hadn't even lost 10 lbs, although I was at least 30 lbs overweight. I was giving it my all and became so discouraged.

    When I started working with Margaret, she told me that I didn't need to do nearly as much cardio and needed to incorporate more weights.     Margaret programmed my workouts, taking into consideration my physical limitations and even prescribing movement that wouldn't aggravate my situation, but instead would build strength and better mobility.

    The recipes were SO DELICIOUS, and a few of them I'm guilty of having on repeat, frequently. I didn't feel like I was stuck eating the same thing over and over unless I chose to. She not only took into consideration the availability of ingredients for the recipes, she also took care to ensure there was a wide variety of meals to choose from, and she provides meals that were low in cost to prepare.

    Margaret was easily accessible during the challenge. Any questions or concerns I had, she would address. I had a setback at one point, taking all upper body out of the rotation. She was able to rewrite my plan to accommodate this. Without her guidance, I would've probably quit lifting altogether, not knowing how to work around my injury, but she expertly guided me along and checked in on me to make sure things were going well and because of that, I'm past the injury and actually building muscle in that area again.

    I would absolutely do another challenge with Margaret and would encourage family and friends to participate, as well. Margaret genuinely wants to help others improve their quality of life through mobility, strength training, and healthy eating that doesn't break the bank or make you feel like you're eating the same bland foods for 8 weeks, and it shows through her close attention to detail.
